Feeling Called to Serve? Welcome to Centerpointe Youth!

Our youth program is perfect for busy adults who don’t have a degree in theology but want to share with and relate to next generation Christians. These young teens are engaging and intelligent, looking to their teachers to help them mature in their understanding of life and faith.

Our “Lead” typically carries 80% of the responsibility for the week’s message content and preparation. He/She delivers the message and orchestrates the activities. Leads are typically comfortable speaking in front of a large group and even more comfortable being open with our students about life and the purpose God has for them.

The “Support” by their very presence says “this time together is important”. They model attentive listening, help insure all students are engaged, add perspective comments, and lead discussions with a portion of the group should our agenda call for splitting into smaller groups. Support are often more comfortable being part of the group rather than standing in front of the group. They show the love of Christ though their engagement with younger members of His church.
