The Way Membership Seminar

This one-afternoon membership class is offered twice each year. The Way, taught by Pastor Mike, will explore the meaning and implications of faith and life in the body of Christ and will give you the opportunity to become a member at Centerpointe. The Way Membership Class will be offered on Sunday, October 16, 2011, 12:30-3:30pm, and includes lunch. Please RSVP by October 12 using the form below. The next opportunity to attend The Way will be April 22, 2012.

Committing to the call of a lifetime

People of The Way are called by Jesus Christ into a new and everlasting way of life and blessing. The Way is an ongoing journey of discipleship as an active member of God’s forever family.

The Way begins with the call of God

“God is faithful; by him you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:9 NRSV

The call of God in Christ is an everlasting call

  • rooted in God’s eternal plan,
  • extends to us personally through the gospel,
  • brings the gift of salvation,
  • encompasses a new way of living here on earth, and
  • ultimately leads to the glory of heaven.

The Way is shaped by a continuous commitment to Jesus Christ, and to his church. Your call forms the basis for your life on earth as a Christ-follower and member of the Kingdom and you serve at the pleasure of the King.

“For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died. And he died for all, so that those who live might live no longer for themselves, but for him who died and was raised for them.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15 NRSV
