You are invited to join the Centerpointe family in a new all-church sermon series and small group study “The Prodigal God.” Starting September 12, many in our family of faith will be reading and studying this thoughtful book.

Written by Timothy Keller, Senior Pastor of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Manhattan, and New York Times best selling author of The Reason for God, The Prodigal God is a dramatic teaching film, sermon series and group study resource based on Jesus’ great parable – The Prodigal Son. Join us as Pastor Mike shares a six-week sermon series in which we rediscover the heart of the Christian faith through this dramatic story.

This parable teaches of the younger brother, representing those that live apart from the moral laws of the Bible, and the older brother, representing those who obey Scripture, worship faithfully, and pray constantly. Each brother demonstrates a different way to be alienated from God, and a different way to seek acceptance into the kingdom of Heaven.

There is a special feature for all of you who are newer to Centerpointe. For people not currently in a small group, you will have the opportunity to be part of a new small group that will meet for six weeks only as a community of people who are learning, growing and encouraging one another.
