Club 56

Club 56 is our program specially designed for 5th & 6th graders. Our goal is to partner with parents and help preteens get a super start to their relationships with Jesus and in living the rest of their lives for Him! Preteens are beginning to think for themselves –they are acting, learning, and relating differently than they were just a few years ago. They are between childhood and adolescence. We hope to help support and prepare them for the myriad of things they’ll face once they leave the relative safety of childhood and enter the world of teens.

Students meet on Sunday mornings at 9am and 10:30am to rejoice in who God made them to be and learn to make wise choices. Through discussions and games, we ask such questions as – What is a Christian?, What is Worship? and How Can I Figure Out What the Bible Says? to name a few. We pray that with the guidance of their parents and the support and encouragement of the church, our preteens will enter their teen years committed to living for Jesus and ready to make a positive impact on the world!

Building strong peer relationships is a very important value at Centerpointe and so necessary for preteens. Once a month, Club 56 meets for fun, food and growing friendships. The following are examples of some of the adventures planned for this year: Pool parties, a trip to the corn maize, rock climbing, movie night, scavenger hunt, progressive dinner and ice skating.
