Centerpointe Kids hosts a variety of events throughout the year for children and their families. Our upcoming events include:
Advent Family Night
Join us on Sunday, November 27 as we kick off the advent season with our Family Advent Night. We will be making Gingerbread houses, having a soup, salad & bread potluck and singing Christmas carols. Our theme for this event is Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Just like the gingerbread houses we are making, God has made each of us with the exact same ingredients but we all are uniquely created. Come out and show us how uniquely your family can create their own gingerbread house.
The cost is $15 per gingerbread house. Please specify how many houses your family will need.

The Great Christmas Giveaway
Centerpointe Kids Presents: The Great Christmas Giveaway - Join Brody, Ashley and the rest of the class officers as they meet at the mall to search for the perfect present for their homeroom teacher. There are many temptations and detours along the way, but they come to learn that true joy is only found when we give to others in the same way Christ gave to us. Performance are at Centerpointe Presbyterian Church, 3410 Cornerstone Court 94566 in the Worship Center on Sunday, December 18th & Saturday, December 24th. Both performances are at 5pm.
Children’s Christmas Musical – Auditions 9/12
Centerpointe Kids is so excited to present our 6th Annual Christmas Musical –The Great Christmas Giveaway: The Gift Goes On!
Join Brody, Ashley and the rest of the class officers as they meet at the mall to search for the perfect present for their homeroom teacher. There are many temptations and detours along the way, but they come to learn that true joy is only found when we give to others in the same way Christ gave to us. Featuring the engaging songs, a spiritual message, and sparkling arrangements, The Great Christmas Giveaway is sure to delight audiences of all ages.
Auditions are Monday, September 12 from 5:15 til 6:45. All children who audition will get a part in the show. Musical rehearsals will be on Mondays from 515 til 645 (September through December). Kids aged 1st-8th grade are eligible to participate. The performances are scheduled for Sunday, December 18 & Christmas Eve, Friday, December 24 at 5pm. Cost is $35 for the first child and $15 for each additional child in the same family.

Centerpointe Kids Education Classes
All classes are scheduled for 2 days from 12-1:30pm with lunch included. The class is limited to 12 students for each age group (1st/2nd and 3rd-6th). Attendance is required both days. Please RSVP below by the Thursday before class starts.
Kids Explore the Bible:
This two day class offers kids the opportunity to really get to know their Bibles. They will learn that the Bible is the Word of God and how it speaks to their lives. Parents are invited to join in the second of the two classes with their own Bibles to share in what their kids have learned. Our next class will be offered in Fall 2011
Prayer Classes:
What is prayer and is there only one way to do it? What should I talk to God about and how do I know he is really listening? These are some of the questions that we will address on March 20th and 27th. The class is scheduled from 12-1:30pm. The class is open to kids 1st-6th grade. The kids will meet their Prayer Partners (adult volunteers from the congregation) during the second class to share what they have learned during the previous lesson and how the two can pray for each other throughout the year. Please RSVP by Thursday, March 17th.
Sacraments Classes:
This two day class offers kids the opportunity to discover the meaning of baptism and communion. The class is available for kids 3rd-6th grade only. Parents are invited to the beginning of the first class to learn what we will be teaching the kids. Our next set of Sacraments classes is scheduled for May 15 & 22, 2011, 12-1:30pm. RSVP below by Thursday, May 12. Kids who decide to commit their lives to Jesus and would like to be baptized can make an appointment along with their parents with Pastor Mike to schedule a baptism. Children attending both classes can participate in communion beginning June 5.
