Vacation Bible School

Hey there!!
Big City, Bigger Fun! Grab a cab and get ready for fun around every corner in Centerpointe Church’s Big Apple Adventure, Where Faith and Life Connect. As kids explore the big city, they’ll learn how to step out in faith and connect with Jesus — sharing the message of Christ with their world.
The adventure begins Monday, July 25 and goes through Friday, July 29. We start promptly at 9am and wind up our day at 12:15pm.
Our scripture verse for the week will be: “So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message of Jesus Christ.” — Romans 10:17
The youth tour guides will be leading our tourists on daily cab rides with connections at the Worship Rally at Times Square, Bible Study at Battery Park, the Crafts District, Midtown Snacks, and games at Playground 1017
The registration fee of $50 per child includes a musical CD, t-shirt and all activities during the week. Financial assistance is available upon request.

We had an amazing time at Saddle Ridge Ranch this year. With almost 200 kids and over 100 different volunteers, we sang, danced, played games and wrangled with questions like: Who Am I? Does God Care about me? What’s God’s plan for me? How can I be like Jesus? and What do I do now? At the end of the day, we discovered that God’s Word has all the answers!

Our scripture verse for the week was: “Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without criticizing, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5

Our youth wranglers did a great job leading their cowpokes through daily rides with breaks at the Worship Rally Valley, games at Mustang Mountain, crafts at Blazing Star Stables, Bible Study Bunkhouse, and snacks at the Big Sky Grill. Special thanks to all of them and to all of the volunteers who helped out in each area. We could not have done it without their help.

We hope all of you will join us next year as we leave the ranch and explore the big city where we will learn how to step out in faith and connect with Jesus – sharing the message of Christ with their world during VBS 2011 “Big Apple Adventure” – July 25-29, 2011. Registration will begin May 1, 2011
